The Rail+ 9.8 is a carbon enduro e-MTB made for chasing after distant peaks and hammering out laps. With 160 mm front and rear travel, it's ready to rip through the rough, and it's backed by a powerful Bosch Performance CX drive system that makes long climbs and fast laps a breeze. It packs in adjustable geometry that lets you customise your bike for how and where you ride, a massive battery that keeps you going lap after lap, and a Shimano XT drivetrain that keeps shifts clean and reliable.

You chase big rides with even bigger terrain and need an e-bike that can keep up. You want plenty of suspension for gobbling up roots and rocks and a full-assist motor that doesn't wallow on punchy climbs. You care about upgrades where they matter most, like a carbon frame, upgraded suspension package and 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain.

An OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with Bosch Performance CX system (85 Nm, 250 W) and a massive 800 Wh RIB 2.0 removable integrated battery. Bosch Performance Line CX motor
The Bosch Performance Line CX sets the standard for eMTB performance with up to 85 Nm of torque and an intelligent eMTB mode with Extended Boost that automatically adjusts the amount of assist based on the terrain.

New RIB 2.0
Removable Integrated Battery (RIB 2.0) makes it easy to remove your battery for more convenient charging or travelling, and you don't have to worry about dropping it thanks to a secondary safety catch.

Mixed wheel size
You get a 29"" front wheel for monster truckin' over stuff, with a smaller 27.5"" wheel out back for getting rowdy.

Adjust the suss for full send
Adjust the leverage rate with just a flip of a chip. Ride it in the Less progressive setting for a plusher feel perfect for rugged trails with square-edge bumps. Flip it to More progressive when you're hitting big features and don't want to bottom-out, or when you want to run a coil shock.

Bosch System Controller
The System Controller gives you a quick overview of your assist mode and battery level without distracting you from the ride. It's integrated into the top tube so it's out of the way but still easy to see with LED indicators. It also connects to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth for accessing ride stats and performing system updates.

Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.

This includes adjusting saddle height, saddle position and where possible adjusting the brake levers / gear shifters.

We will also adjust any accessories you have purchased with your bike where applicable.

Free 6 week service (at your nearest store)

When you buy a bike from us you will get a free service at your nearest Bicycle Chain store within 6 weeks of taking delivery of your bike.

The free service is put in place to make sure the bike you have purchased is running correctly and to adjust out any cable stretch that happens to any new bike.
