Meaning Brick, in Italian, the Mattone is Silcas award winning seat bag powered by the BOA® Closure System. With the Mattone Grande, Silca have now created a ˜bigger brick with 77cm3 of internal volume, more than 2x the volume of the original Mattone.
The Mattone Grande is capable of holding up to 3 road tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers and a multi-tool. It can also easily hold up to two 29x2.5 MTB tubes along with CO2, levers and Multi-tool.
The Mattone Grande is ideal for those long adventure rides or races where you must be prepared for everything.
Similar to the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA® Closure completes the package. Making more than 15x the power of Velcro®, the BOA® Closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact. This ensures the Mattone Grande will remain ˜high and tight under your saddle until you need to access it... no swinging, swaying, or rattling... ever.

This includes adjusting saddle height, saddle position and where possible adjusting the brake levers / gear shifters.
We will also adjust any accessories you have purchased with your bike where applicable.
When you buy a bike from us you will get a free service at your nearest Bicycle Chain store within 6 weeks of taking delivery of your bike.
The free service is put in place to make sure the bike you have purchased is running correctly and to adjust out any cable stretch that happens to any new bike.
The type of bike you have bought and the type of riding you have planned will affect how soon you need to book your free service.
However if you experience any issues at any time you should stop riding your bike and book your bike in for its free service immediately.
