All SyncDrive motors have Smart Assist technology, which adjusts the support to match the riders needs. The Giant Roam is a great first time ebike, very comfortable, handles well, and creates a good overall ride experience. Only issues I found, saddle angle hard to adjust, tubeless tyres can be a pain, and couldn't understand how the RideDash fitted to the machine, could be literature to explain the accessories more, even the Giant website doesn't really give any great explanation on each item.
