29er hardtail with a sophisticated TFS aluminium frame, 2×8 drivetrain, lockout fork, hydraulic disc brakes, and Shimano hubs and chainset.

Merida has spent over half a century perfecting aluminium hardtail design, and that experience shows. Every Big Nine and Big Seven model is built around a high-quality TFS frame engineered with the latest technology, including:

  • Full internal cable routing for a clean, modern look
  • Tapered head tube, allowing easy, future-proof upgrades
  • Inboard disc brake mounts that protect the brake and ensure maximum stopping power

To match the advanced frame, we’ve added as much Shimano componentry as possible for smooth performance and long-term reliability.

With a wide range of sizes, choosing the right fit is simple:

  • Big Nine (29er) for taller riders or those who want more speed and efficiency
  • Big Seven (27.5") for shorter riders or anyone who prefers a more agile, responsive ride

If you fall between sizes, let your riding style guide you—choose Big Nine for speed, or Big Seven for agility.
