The Epic World Cup from Specialized is renowned for its amazing efficiency, control, and lightweight structure, making it the fastest XC race bike for smooth to moderately technical courses. Engineered to ensure maximum speed through super-efficient power transfer and precise handling, this bike boasts new standards in torsional rigidity and BB stiffness. With an integrated development approach, its superior double diamond layout cradles the state-of-the-art shock within the top-tube, combined with the most advanced composite layup in the business.

This pioneering bike integrates unique shock technology that provides the rider's desired hardtail efficiency and response along with the control, capability, and momentum of a full suspension bike. The SID Deluxe WCID shock offers an easily personalised setup for each unique course or the desired feel of the rider. Set it firm for a hardtail ride or open it up for a forgiving run on rough terrains.

Offering 75mm of rear travel, the Epic World Cup conducts itself like a bike with much longer travel. Its spring-rate is tuned to be relatively flat through the mid-stroke, countering the majority of bump forces similar to a bike with higher travel. Its innovative custom Mega Jounce Bumper manages bottom-out smoothly on heavy impacts.

The groundbreaking SIDLuxe WCID shock, along with a RockShox SID SL with a 3-Position Race Day 2 damper, lends excellent support and pliability to the rear. It comes with 110mm of active, bump-absorbing suspension, ensuring optimum efficiency.

At just 1,915 grams, the Epic World Cup's lightweight frame surpasses even the lightest of competitors. This contributes to swifter acceleration, effective climbing, and agile handling, adding up to sheer speed.

  • Features a Ride Dynamics Developed suspension technology with 75mm of optimised rear wheel travel for unmatched pedal efficiency.
  • Equipped with a SRAM XO transmission for robust performance in harsh XC racing conditions.
  • RockShox SID SL with 3-Position Race Day 2 damper for efficient pedalling support.
  • Built with handcrafted Roval Control carbon wheels for superior strength, durability, and ride quality, while cutting down on weight.
