Experience the epitome of engineering prowess with the DT Swiss XRC 1501 wheel, a game-changer in the premium alloy MTB wheel lineup. This 3rd generation wheel boasts a bespoke 30 mm wide carbon rim, crafted to offer unparalleled ride quality, reliability, and strength-to-weight ratios that have made it a global test winner and race favourite.

The XRC 1501 is the lightest and fastest accelerating Spline 1 wheel, paired perfectly with the latest high-volume 2.4 inch XC race tyres. It's worth noting the impressive track record of this wheel, having already raced to multiple victories with celebrated athletes such as Nino Schurter, Kate Courtney, and Mathias Fl?ckiger.

The heart of this wheel system is the innovative Ratchet EXP 240 hubs. Engineered for simplicity, reliability, and lightweight performance, these are the finest 240 hubs DT Swiss has ever produced. The Ratchet EXP design minimises moving parts inside the hub, thus facilitating a wider bearing spacing which improves overall stiffness, extends bearing life and reduces drag. Additionally, these hubs still retain DT Swiss' signature easy tool-free servicing, allowing trailside maintenance if required.

To further enhance the wheel's lightweight performance and deliver a more forgiving ride, the XRC 1501 uses Swiss-made Comp Race spokes. These are butted down to 1.6 mm which not only makes them lighter, but also helps offset the additional stiffness typically associated with carbon rims.

When purchased as a pair, the wheels come equipped with both Shimano MICRO SPLINE and SRAM XD freehubs, 6-bolt adaptors, tubeless tape, and premium lightweight tubeless valves. Striking an impressive balance between weight and strength, these wheels can support a maximum recommended system weight of 110 KG.

Prepare for an unparalleled cycling experience with the DT Swiss XRC 1501 wheel ? Front weighing in at 728 grams and the Rear at 816 grams.
