Ordering of the bike was all smooth and efficient and I thought it was great that they give you a phone call and ensure you’ve ordered the correct size. I was told on the phone delivery would be pm which was between 12pm -6pm, but on the day of arrival I got a text saying it would be between 7.50am - 11.50am which was obviously not what was agreed. It arrived at 11.58am. Just not really as planned. The bike came made up which was great however it didn’t have drinks bottle cages attached. When trying to fit the drinks bottle cages there was a problem in which the screws kept rounding off. This resulted in me having to take it to a Giant store for them to get it done. Bicycle chain said it should be done for free under warranty however giant store charge an admin fee of £37.50 but credit to Bicyclechain as they refunded me the cost. The bike was advertised as Shimano 105 group set but it arrived with ultegra brakes and calipers. I am aware this is an upgrade but couldn’t understand why. I called bicyclechain and they said that it’s within the small print that if the manufacturer runs out of parts for something they can use others. Obviously I wasn’t aware of this. I didn’t have too much a problem as I received better parts, but had it come with worse parts I think that’s pretty poor. But overall great service and unbeatable on price. Happy with my bike, thank you.
