The sect Pro, akin to its sibling the Sect complete, boasts a sleek 4130 chromoly tubeset designed to keep weight to a minimum. There's even more to get excited about with its rear - hydroformed chainstay yokes crafted to deliver a short rear end, making it simple to initiate manuals and rotations. As for its front, the tapered headtube is game-changing, provoking a surge in front-end stiffness and making it possible to install the incredible X-Fusion Slant fork.
Delve deeper and you'll find the X-Fusion Slant fork's air spring, a feature that puts you in complete control of your spring rate. Whether you desire complete resistance against bottoming out or a softer setup for navigating through rough terrain, the choice is yours. Plus, the air spring dramatically reduces weight compared to a coil, making your bike much easier to handle and manoeuvre.
Let's not forget the DMR cockpit, and the two-piece cranks. In comparison to the standard Sect bike, the Pro has an upgraded wheelset featuring a thru-axle front hub and lightweight disc-specific rims that can nevertheless withstand several heavy landings. The rear hub also gets an upgrade with a cassette driver, designed to better handle high loads and to last longer. The cumulative effect of these upgrades is a staggering weight saving of 1.5kg over the standard Sect model.
