Shoes designed to match Crankbrothers' pedal ranges. The Mallet E Speedlace is designed for big days out on the bike, with a stiff shank for pedaling efficiency and a ramped toe and grippy tread for hike-a-bike situations. These shoes can be combined with the Mallet E or Mallet E long spindle pedals.The upper features a speedlace and strap for fast and secure adjustment, as well as a lace pocket at the top of the tongue for storing away your laces safely and keeping the aesthetic clean. Ventilated windows with perforated mesh material provide breathability, and the padded tongue offers protection. TPU reinforced areas provide protection and abrasion resistance, while heel dots offer grip and superior heel hold. Hidden eyelets add durability and a clean design.The outsole is match box optimized for any MTB pedals, with a ramp for easy clip-in/clip-out and mud clearance. The shoe comes with a pre-installed Crankbrothers match shim and cleat, which can be adjusted and tightened for immediate use. It can also be used with any brand of SPD cleat by removing the gray match shim and setting up directly in the match box. The MC1 mid-friction compound allows for easy exit from the pedal. The directional angled and spaced toe/heel lugs provide traction while hiking, and the ramped toe allows for walkability. The stiff shank ensures power transfer when pedaling, and the cushioned EVA midsole absorbs shock.Sizing is based on UK normal shoe sizing, using a USA last. The range runs true to size, so there's no need to size up. The Mallet E Speedlace is available in sizes 4-13, with half sizes available from 5.5-11.5.

The free service is put in place to make sure the bike you have purchased is running correctly and to adjust out any cable stretch that happens to any new bike.
The type of bike you have bought and the type of riding you have planned will affect how soon you need to book your free service.
However if you experience any issues at any time you should stop riding your bike and book your bike in for its free service immediately.
