The Bluegrass Vanguard Core is a lightweight full-face helmet designed for dedicated mountain bike riders. This helmet is certified for downhill riding (ASTM F1952) and e-bike use (NTA 8776), ensuring maximum protection. It also features MIPS brain protection and has been awarded a five-star rating by the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab.The Vanguard Core sets the standard for safety. It has an in-mould polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner, providing excellent impact protection. The MIPS C2 rotational management system adds an extra layer of safety in the event of certain impacts.The helmet is equipped with a Fidlock magnetic buckle, which makes it easy to secure. It also has adjustable C-shaped cheek-pads for a perfect fit, with two different thicknesses included. The integrated, fixed chin bar provides full protection.The Vanguard Core meets the safety standards of ASTM 1952-15/2032-15 and NTA 8776. It also has a safety release and a flexible injected visor to prevent excessive rotation of the neck in a crash. The breathable chin bar with a mud-grill ensures comfort and ventilation.For a customized fit, the Vanguard Core features the Safe-T Heta fit system with a 360° head belt and 3 vertical adjustments. The 24 vents work in conjunction with an internal air channeling system to improve ventilation and comfort. The comfort pads are hand washable for hygiene and durability.The helmet has a wide field of view, making it compatible with all goggles and sunglasses. It comes with a soft storage bag for convenient storage when not in use.The Bluegrass Vanguard Core is CE, US, and AS/NZS certified. It is available in three sizes: S (52-56cm), M (56-58cm), and L (58-61cm). The weight varies depending on the size: S (700g), M (725g), and L (790g).
